Cobbled Together Salad – Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein (1994)
We all know the story of Dr. Frankenstein and his monster. As perfect as the Dr. thought he was, the monster got all fired up and ran amok. Fortunately this freakishly good salad will not come back to haunt you, but you probably should make one for your bride ( or groom). A classic Cobb salad is always a good movie night choice.

Notes
We put this salad together mincing all the ingredients and turned it into a dry dip. We used blue corn chips with it, and it was perfect for a night of cobbled together monsters and their dads.
This movie didn't deserve the hate heaped upon it when it was released. The film is a faithful adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and it isn't afraid get under our skin. The exploration of ethics, morals and humanity is as deep as any monster movie, and neither demonizes or sugar coats Dr. Frankenstein's scientific methods or outcomes. It does remind us, that human life is complicated and we are all responsible for each other.
If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it.
